Cool Graffitiami for Kids

The Graffitiami is coming from the blending word of Graffiti and Kirigami. For those who do not know, Kiri is a variation of origami that includes cutting of the paper (from Japanese “kiru” = to cut, “kami” = paper). Typically, kirigami starts with a folded base, which is then cut; cuts are then opened and flattened to make the finished kirigami. Kirigami are usually symmetrical, such as snowflakes, pentagrams, or orchid blossoms.

Below are pictures of the Graffitiami art work by Eric. He said it was used as a part of a birthday gift for his younger brother, Ryan. So cool isn’t it? I want one too!

OHWOW was established in 2008 by Al Moran and Aaron Bondaroff to encourage artistic innovation and provide a platform for progressive art of all media, featuring both emerging and established artists’ work. OHWOW is a gallery, publisher, and special project – a creative community – with gallery and retail locations in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City. If you are desperate about something creative then you need to look around as there are many small things that can help you say your attitude.

It does sound stupid at first, but clothes can surely become our mobile advertisement slogans because we wear them and move around. Hence, we become human banners that are speaking about the way we feel and what kind of attitude we prefer. T-shirts have now become the mobile banner for all the youngsters as they prefer to wear funny tshirts that have some kind of preaching statements, one liners and funny pictures on it. These tshirts are not only popular in the West, but many Asian countries like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are soon following the trend.

Another way to speak up your mind when you are at home or in your school is to use film posters. Of course, there are thousands of movie posters available all over the internet and even in stores, but there may be some posters that appeal to you because there is something in it that attracts you. It can be that you love action heroes and therefore you have a film poster of Bruce Willis or Jet Li with some action sequence in the background or some other posters where the heroes are flexing their muscles.

If you are crazy about movies then you can also get inspired by certain genres of movies. There are many creative people who look at movies with different perspective and therefore they are able to know more about their movies than any other local movie freak. There are many internet websites like IMDB where you can find some of the latest information about the movies that are about to release and also about the movies that have made it to the box office. You can even read about how the audience felt about a certain type of movie on such websites.

Dalton Ghetti’s Creative Pencil Tip Arts

Many artists have used pencils to create beautiful pieces of work – but only one creates stunning masterpieces on the tip of one. Microscopic artist Dalton Ghetti spends up to two-and-a half years painstakingly crafting each handmade piece on the graphite of a pencil. Mr Ghetti, who works as a carpenter, has been working with pencils for about 25 years and his stunning sculptures include Elvis, the entire alphabet, linking chains and even an entire church which is just 10mm tall. I want to introduce you a very talented and creative artist nowadays. His name is Sam Rohn. He has been scouting locations for television commercials, episodic television, feature films, music videos, commercial photographers, event planners, directors, producers, production designers and others since 1992. Generally he obtains film permits, and deal with local film commissions, communities, & police departments, as well as the location owners & neighbors before, during, and after the shoot to ensure his project is a success, and all parties concerned are happy with the outcome. I really admire his art works. Below are the stunning photos made by him.
