Southbank Centre’s wide-ranging programme, which consists of classical & world music, rock & pop, jazz, dance, literature and the visual arts – attracts the most diverse audience of any UK venue. One of the most popular place at Southbank Centre is Hayward Gallery. Currently on show at the Hayward Gallery in London is this bed curling round on itself by Cuban artists Los Carpinteros, part of an exhibition of work exploring interior design. Amazing eh? The Easter Bunny or Easter Hare is a character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs, who sometimes is depicted with clothes. In legend, the creature brings baskets filled with colored eggs, candy and sometimes also toys to the homes of children on the night before Easter. The Easter Bunny will either put the baskets in a designated place or hide them somewhere in the house or garden for the children to find when they wake up in the morning. Street Fighter is a popular series of fighting games, which is developed in Japan in 1987 by Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto. Each charater in Street Fighter has his or her own special moves, against one another. Because of its popularity, Street Fighter has been inspired by many graphic artists around the globe. These horror Street Fighter zombies are created by a popular concept artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil named Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura (nickname “Manuhell”). His works from Manuhell Cghub are recently getting noticed from our scout and we proudly present you the awesomeness of his masterpiece. Eiffel Tower at Paris has been the symbol of power for many generations. Up to date, the Eiffel Tower is still standing with pride and has become among the must-see-places in the world. However, not long before, the Eiffel Tower had been struck by lightning and the event has been photographed. I ensure you that this picture is not a Paris photos manipulation like I posted about 2 months ago. Simply amazing!

For anyone trying to trace the roots of printing, Caxon and Guttenberg would be a good Beginning point, although further investigation will lead them to China, thousands of years previous. Much of the styling found on many later printing machines, traced its roots back to some of the Victorian presses which had an extremely heavy and gothic influence. It ended up that presses weren’t being designed by artists, the were instead designed by engineers for the artists.

Artist were, for quite a while restricted and only able to print their work at print houses. Machines were revered without being used to their full potential. The equipment was the main thing not what was being printed.

That’s where we were until Dave Gunning came along and designed a brilliant fabricated machine which is totally ‘hands on’ during the late eighties. The immediate results were fantastic and the machine design has been honed and perfected during the last 20 years. Dave strongly believes that people from all avenues of life should have the resources to embrace the art of printmaking. Dave has steel bashing in his roots, he was born into a long distinct pedigree steelworkers in Biston 55 years ago. His own art is featured in many private and public collections including National Museum of Wales, The Palace of Westminster and also the Royal Collection.

Unlike any other printing machines on the market, every press is hand made in Ironbridge, Shropshire. They print etchings, collographs, lino, bromoil and woodcuts. The quality of the prints produced is so high, every one of his printing presses come with a lifetime gaurentee. Dave Gunnings Gunningarts printing presses are located in schools, colleges and artists studios. In fact he has produced over 1000 of these premium printing machines. One even takes a pride of place within the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, an accolade any artist or designer would be proud of.

Apple iPad, which has been sold almost 600k in the United States has become a phenomena at the moment. Regardless whether you were a geek or not, iPad is truly something you must have. Lawrence Yang from San Francisco, an Information architecture, has tried Autodesk’s Sketchbook Pro app of iPad and his opinion is, “So much fun, so easy to use”. The art of ‘Blue River – Water is Life’ has been made by a Dutch artist named Henk Hofstra in Drachten, Holland. The arts have been expressed and produced creatively on one kilometer or 1000 meters road. In the midst of blue color is also painted the words “Water is Life” with height 8 meter. Blue is a symbolic way to show the history of the Drachten which is in the past covered with water ways. This is not just a gift to the environment, but also an inspiration to the people of the city Drachten.

Apart from road painted in blue, some other creative works of art designs such as the sunken car also made and exhibited. This project has been using 4000 liters of paint and has a cost of Eu75000. Half of this cost was borne by the district council.

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is a very popular book in regards with men and women relationship. The book that has been written by John Gray is offering variety of suggestions to improve the relationship from communication style to emotional needs. However, the bad thing is the book does not cover the graphical arts of it. Thus, I compile seven graphical arts each of men and women that can represent the term Men are from Mars and Women from the Venus. I give a huge credit and appreciation to Computer Graphic Society for these jaw-opening graphical arts.

I want to introduce you a very talented and creative artist nowadays. His name is Sam Rohn. He has been scouting locations for television commercials, episodic television, feature films, music videos, commercial photographers, event planners, directors, producers, production designers and others since 1992. Generally he obtains film permits, and deal with local film commissions, communities, & police departments, as well as the location owners & neighbors before, during, and after the shoot to ensure his project is a success, and all parties concerned are happy with the outcome.
