Circumpolar Startrails above World of Aches

Circumpolar startrails above a beautiful natural arch. Located near Moab, Utah, Arches National Park is home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. The park lies atop an underground salt bed, which caused the formation of the arches, sandstone fins, and enormous monoliths in the area. The salt bed was deposited over the Colorado Plateau around 300 million years ago when a sea flowed into the region and eventually evaporated. Over countless millennia, the erosive forces of water and wind have shaped the geologic wonderland we see today at Arches. As noted by the photographer “The numerous sandstone arches produce natural windows into the sky. So it offers the perfect setting to unify Earth and Heaven in a series of photographs using long time exposures on dark, moonless nights. A Fearless Man Try to Defy The Universe

The enchanting beauty of a clear summer sky. The Milky Way, the disc of our galaxy, home to billions of stars, stands above the southern horizon. A streaking meteor and a passing satellite are also captured in this lucky shot. The yellow glow at the horizon are lights from the nearby towns. Photographer: Oshin D. Scientists Excavating Giant Ant Hill (Video)

Throughout the ages scientists have a passion to discover and invent something which is new to the world. Here, we are talking about none other than a discovery about an ‘ant’ file. Actually scientists investigated to find out how the subterranean cities of Ants looked like. The science work of the scientists has been achieved due to their continuous efforts and passion to achieve something.

How Did They Excavate

Scientists used their brains and got the success in finding the ant colonies. They dug out 10 tonnes of cement down under the tubes or a hole made by ants into the mud. After a month with the help of scientist Louis Fortune, they discovered some giant and complex structures made by ant which seems to be a masterpiece amongst all. With the help of digging machines, loads and tonnes of earth’s soil was dug and they found subterranean highways connected to the main chambers and some fungus gardens too. This design was provided shortest path of transporting with great excellence and ventilation facility.

Everything seems to be truly designed by an architect. This Ant colony was a little complex owing to the fact that this was of 50 square meters in structure and 8 meters deep into the earth.

Purpose and Reason – The Giant colony of Ants is so huge for the size of the creature that it seems to be equivalent to the building of Great Wall of China. Although it can’t be seen from moon as the Great Wall of China, it can be easily called as one of the wonders of the world. The video shows that though ants are too small in size, their power cannot be underestimated when they work in unity. They have had known to achieve great things despite their small size.

Summary of the Video

The video talks about the effort spent by the scientists in the excavation process. The amount of cement removed was huge before the excavation work could be started. The scientists removed tonnes of earth with the help of special machines and diggers. The site is located on a side route coming from the main route. Tunnels are designed in such a way so as to provide quick transportation and adequate ventilation facility. The superb structure looks as if it were designed by a professional architect. However it has been made possible by the will power and hard work of none other than the smallest creature on earth-the ant.

Saguaro Moon Rising over the Sonoran Desert

A Full Moon rising such this amazing red moon can be a dramatic celestial sight, and Full Moons can have many names. For example, tonight’s Full Moon, the one nearest the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere, is popularly called the Harvest Moon. Recorded on a trip to the American southwest, this contribution to compelling images of moonrise is appropriately titled Saguaro Moon.

Where this harvest or Saguaro moon has been shot? For you information, Saguaros, which is a large, tree-sized cactus, only grow in the Sonoran Desert, so it is definitely Arizona. Do you agree with me on this?

Amazing Red Moon [PIC]

A red moon, or also known as blood moon or sanguine moon, is the first full moon after the harvest moon, which is the full moon nearest the autumnal equinox. In the picture, the red moon over the ruin of an unknown ancient structure was photographed brilliantly. Why the moon looks bigger? When the moon is nearer the horizon, it appears bigger. Scientists believe it is an example of the Ponzo illusion. Enjoy the amazing red moon!

Rainbow Tree in California

Curtis Killorn, an artist from California, creates amazing works of art by painting dead trees, essentially bringing them back to life in all the colors of the rainbow. The rainbow tree looks very lively and hopefully he can make the miracle by painting other dead trees around the area. Or maybe he can create a garden of rainbow trees. Can’t wait for that to happen. Cyprus’s Heads in the Clouds

Troodos is the biggest mountain range of Cyprus, located in the center of the island. Troodos’ highest peak is Mount Olympus at 1,952 metres. The Troodos mountain range stretches across most of the western side of Cyprus. There are many famous mountain resorts, Byzantine monasteries and churches on mountain peaks, and nestling in its valleys and picturesque mountain villages clinging to terraced hill slopes. The following amazing photo shots, entitled Heads in the Clouds were taken by CostaDinos at Troodos Mountains last week. Pretty stunning isn’t it?

Dalton Ghetti’s Creative Pencil Tip Arts

Many artists have used pencils to create beautiful pieces of work – but only one creates stunning masterpieces on the tip of one. Microscopic artist Dalton Ghetti spends up to two-and-a half years painstakingly crafting each handmade piece on the graphite of a pencil. Mr Ghetti, who works as a carpenter, has been working with pencils for about 25 years and his stunning sculptures include Elvis, the entire alphabet, linking chains and even an entire church which is just 10mm tall. Eiffel Tower at Paris has been the symbol of power for many generations. Up to date, the Eiffel Tower is still standing with pride and has become among the must-see-places in the world. However, not long before, the Eiffel Tower had been struck by lightning and the event has been photographed. I ensure you that this picture is not a Paris photos manipulation like I posted about 2 months ago. Simply amazing!
