DiGi Plans into Online Ads Business

DiGi, one of the biggest Malaysia telecomunication players once again showed off its innovative side, venturing into other markets beyond the telco’s traditional offerings, by setting up an online advertisement business portal called MySimplifieds. MySimplifieds was set up in partnership with local content developer Kasatria Technologies Sdn Bhd to serve as a platform where people can meet on the Internet to buy and sell or simply browse items.

Apple iLife Upgrades to iPhoto 09, iMovie 09 and GarageBand

Strange Owl and Cassete Measurement Tape

I got these excellent pictures from Boingboing and found out they are really interesting and unique. Gama-Go’s tape measure is actually covered by a radio cassette-casing while owl tape measure is an art from a shop called Gold Bug in Pasadena, California. They are very cheap too! Gellingen Pipe Explosion Secret Report Revealed!

MIT Holographic Monitor

The MIT Holographic monitor is a 3-D images that floats in space. This system creates a 3-D hologram that pops out of the screen, showing the picture from hundreds of angles to provide a convincing sense of depth. The first sets will probably display videogames or animation because they are easier to render in three dimensions than is live action, which requires dozens of cameras to capture the necessary visual data.
