On March 28, 1989 Russian ground controllers lost their contact with their spaceship which was circling around Phobos, and taking some exclusive pictures of Martian moon Phobos. Many astronauts and space experts believe that Phobos monolith is an alien object which should never be there on Phobos. However, in 2011, Russia will again try to put another spacecraft on Phobos to take some exclusive pictures of Martian moon and even to find answers about the existence of Phobos monolith. Currently, Phobos circles around Mars every seven hours and the monolith circles around as well. The new Russian spaceship that will go to Phobos will also bring in some samples of the rock which will help experts to determine more about Phobos monolith. The mystery hexagon on Saturn is one of its kind and it is never seen on any other object or planet in the universe. In 1979, The Voyager showed the same hexagon that sits on top of North Pole of Saturn. The hexagon is similar to Earth’s polar vortex where the winds blow in circular fashion. Since Saturn is bigger than our planet, its vortex can fit 4 Earth inside it at one given time. The Voyager also came up with images of clouds that circle around this hexagonal vortex at 200 miles per hour which is really bizarre image to see. How Did They Excavate

Scientists used their brains and got the success in finding the ant colonies. They dug out 10 tonnes of cement down under the tubes or a hole made by ants into the mud. After a month with the help of scientist Louis Fortune, they discovered some giant and complex structures made by ant which seems to be a masterpiece amongst all. With the help of digging machines, loads and tonnes of earth’s soil was dug and they found subterranean highways connected to the main chambers and some fungus gardens too. This design was provided shortest path of transporting with great excellence and ventilation facility.

Everything seems to be truly designed by an architect. This Ant colony was a little complex owing to the fact that this was of 50 square meters in structure and 8 meters deep into the earth.

Purpose and Reason – The Giant colony of Ants is so huge for the size of the creature that it seems to be equivalent to the building of Great Wall of China. Although it can’t be seen from moon as the Great Wall of China, it can be easily called as one of the wonders of the world. The video shows that though ants are too small in size, their power cannot be underestimated when they work in unity. They have had known to achieve great things despite their small size.

Summary of the Video

The video talks about the effort spent by the scientists in the excavation process. The amount of cement removed was huge before the excavation work could be started. The scientists removed tonnes of earth with the help of special machines and diggers. The site is located on a side route coming from the main route. Tunnels are designed in such a way so as to provide quick transportation and adequate ventilation facility. The superb structure looks as if it were designed by a professional architect. However it has been made possible by the will power and hard work of none other than the smallest creature on earth-the ant.

‘I took two pictures of the scenery. When I checked them later that night, I saw three black dots hovering above the Songhua dam in one of the photos. The biggest one looked like a butterfly,’ he said.

Kunming UFO Research Society president Zhang Yifang said he ruled out the biggest black spot being a kite or a bird. ‘It has the saucer-like shape of a UFO. I believe it is a UFO, but I can’t confirm anything with just one photograph,’ he said.

Is it true Roswell UFO was actually a Russian craft?

Her book, Area 51: An Uncensored History Of America’s Top Secret Military Base, is about the secretive Nevada base called Area 51. One chapter offers the new Roswell theory, citing an anonymous source who says Joseph Stalin recruited Mengele and sent the craft into US air space in 1947 to spark public hysteria.

Like past theories, Ms Jacobsen writes that the US government was involved in a cover-up of the UFO report, which has spawned space alien legend and turned this southern New Mexico town into a tourist attraction. Bill Lyne, who self-published a book called Space Aliens From The Pentagon in 1993, agrees that the Roswell incident was faked, but he thinks the hoax was perpetrated by the US government – not the Russians.

‘They’re just saying what I’ve been saying all along, that it was a hoax,’ he told the Santa Fe New Mexican. ‘But that Mengele stuff is a bunch of hogwash because Mengele was recruited by the CIA (rather than the Russians), and he was actually brought to Albuquerque.’

Clifford Clift of the Mutual UFO Network, or Mufon, in Greeley, Colorado, said he has not seen Jacobsen’s book but has read other articles that suggest the Roswell incident involved German technology. ‘After researching the claim, I found little truth in this theory,’ he said.

‘It is a stretch. One of my concerns is if they wanted to create panic, why in New Mexico and not New York where there are more people to panic? I would suggest it is another conspiracy theory and, heavens, Mufon knows about conspiracy theories. They do sell books.’ AP

Unsurprisingly, Westerners often react to the plant by pointing out it looks like the hand of Freddy Krueger, not knowing that it was named after a hand millennia before. This weird citron grows on small shrubs and trees and has a thick peel. There is hardly any flesh within the fruit – sometimes none at all. Furthermore it has no juice and often has no seeds either. So what on earth is the use of this fruit?

Smell. It has a lovely smell – and you might be forgiven for thinking that this would be akin to the aroma of lemons. However, it has a delicious fragrance more like violets than anything else and is used to perfume rooms. It is also used to keep clothing smelling lovely and fresh. The peel is often candied. This is a rather involved process but worth it as the resulting succade is delicious. The fruit is sliced and depulped. Then it is placed in to salt water to ferment for forty days with the brine replaced a few times during the process. After that it is put in to an even more formidable brine solution for storage. After it has been de-salted and boiled to soften up the peel it is then placed in to a sugar solution. The result – candied Hand! The above picture, however, shows the Buddha’s hand being infused in vodka.

The candying process might put you off, so instead it can also be used simply, just for its zest, produced by scraping or peeling its outer skin. With the Buddha’s Hand, you can cut off its fingers, slice it length ways and use it in salad or on fish dishes. The plant is thought to come from China or the North East of India and it does grow best in temperate conditions. As it is sensitive to extremes such as heat and frost, inland valleys are the best place for propagation and, indeed, the tree can be found as far afield as the US.

As the name suggests, the fruit is also popular as an offering in Buddhism. Traditionally, it is said that Buddha prefers the fingers to resemble a praying hand. When you look at traditional Buddhist dance you can also see the similarity between that and the fruit. From the sublime, however, to the – well, you make up your mind. As parents the world over have said for millennia, there always has to be one…

I am pretty confident that what you are seeing is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix. I’m told they will eventually mix given enough time. Anyway, whatever it is, the merging oceans surely an amazing nature event.

The caps can grow to as large as 2 cm (about 1 inch) in diameter, but because the mushrooms are prone to dehydration, they only have a few days to live once the rain stops. The tiny mushroom is one of seven new species of glow-in-the-dark fungi found around the world, bringing the total known to 71. Just goes to show you that the curiosities of the world never cease!
