This is such a good news to those who reside tropical countries. Scientists announced that the dengue vaccine could be ready in 2015 in their press release entitled, “Dengue vaccine could be ready by 2015“. I wonder if we can wait that long. Malaysia has done something to mutate the mosquito (LINK) but no progress heard from them since then. I think some Japanese also come up with an idea on how to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs (LINK). Anyway, I really hope this …

Malaysia released about 6,000 genetically modified mosquitoes into a forest in the first experiment of its kind in Asia aimed at curbing dengue fever, officials said Wednesday. The field test is meant to pave the way for the use of genetically engineered Aedes aegypti male mosquitoes to mate with females and produce no offspring or ones with shorter lives, thus curtailing the mosquito population. Only female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes spread dengue fever, which killed 134 people in Malaysia last year.…

A new dinosaur species, whose weight was similar to a parrot’s and had only one digit, has been discovered. Scientists view the rare solitary digit as evidence that the evolution of dinosaurs was more complex than they first believed. The dinosaur’s fossilised remains were found in rocks formed from 84 million to 75 million years ago in Linhe, a city near the Yellow River in China.…

The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo. Why are we not aware of this? It’s because some big corporation want to make back their money spent on years of research by trying to make a synthetic version of it for sale.

Humans have always known sun for its scorching heat but researchers and technology gurus are now changing the way we look at sun. Research scientists in Tunisia and Morocco are now working on a new innovative refrigerator that would use sun’s scorching heat and light and convert it to cool large factories that are involved in food packaging and frozen foods. As per the reports and surveys done by various industrial organizations it has been found that large industries and factories consume a lot of electrical power to keep their …

Most of the complicated tumors in the medical world are a problem because they cannot be detected easily by the gadgets that we have available today, but with this new innovative experiment doctors will be able to detect tumors at an early stage so that they can immediately start working on it and prevent any casualties that occur if the tumor has grown in size. Researchers at the Vanderbilt University have now come up with new fluorescent compounds that can light up inside the body when they come in contact …

The world under the ocean has still many secrets that we are not aware of and MIT engineers are now ready to explore the unexplored regions under the water with their latest invention called the Robofish. The prototype looks very much like a trout and contains only 10 parts which are covered by a body made from single soft polymer. MIT engineers confessed that the inspiration for making such a device came from Robotuna which was first invented in the year 1994 but it did not succeed because the fish …
