Gelligen is a village in the Belgium province of Hainaut and it has about 3000 inhabitants. The village is about 40 kilometer southwest of Brussels and the country is well-known sometimes ago with gas explosion which the heaviest in the Belgium history. The pipe explosion accident happened on 30 July 2004 and 24 Died on this explosion including 1 policeman and 5 firemen, while more than 140 more people injured.
